I used maybe 3 gears before the sprint. Point was that changing gears for a crit, when you've already got a bunch in the same vicinity seems like needless...

Can't see a reason the deviate from my standard gearing. 53/39x23/11. I regularly use 53x23 at anything with a hill, like bethel.
