The suspension is great, I love the way I can tune the shocks for various terrains. I did an off trail path and it was much better ride than my old Zed Mountain bike. This is the Cadillac of bikes.

Just got my New Trek, and I love it. Less than a month old and I put 80 miles on it already. I got the DS 8.4 and its fast and smooth. I love the uphill performance as well.
