This Bianchi is a 90's model, without suspension...

This Bianchi is a 90's model, without suspension and is most definitely steel, namely Tange 5 MTB plain gauge tubing.

You will quickly outgrow the type of bikes you find at Walmart. Better to invest in a good used bike because you can always resell it for more or less the same value in case you end up hating bike...

I would use that bike as a general short-distance commuter/beater and invest in a slightly better bike for this purpose. Comfort is paramount for longer distances and I don't think that bike will cut...
