Worth adding that the proposed fee for Treasure Island would apply only to people driving cars. It's designed to encourage people to bike or take transit.

Not useable for commuting to/from SF, but I'm sure some of the 2,500 residents of Treasure Island commute to the East Bay.

The fact that they're closing it on weekdays...

The fact that they're closing it on weekdays rather than finding a way to do the demo in a way that doesn't endanger path users (which surely is possible, since cars will be allowed on the bridge)...
