That happens on all my bikes, not just the fixie. I roll them up, tuck them in my sock or use a geek strap to keep them out of the way.

Congratulations! I thought Peter could still get the steel frames made in Linden, NJ if people really wanted them. They're a bit heavier though, something like 6 lbs heavier than the Al frames.

That's an expensive chip. Bike's get chipped as soon as you drop them or put chain lock them to something. At least their customer service is responding quickly. That's good to hear.

Update on the Apex fenders. Any speed above 15 mph kicks the water up high enough off the front wheel that it flies into your mouth and face. Keep your mouth closed or wear a bandana and glasses.

Thanks Guy. I don't mind the extra weight since I'm around 70 lbs overweight so theoretically, if I lose 2 lbs, I've broken even with the weight gain of the internal hub. Hopefully, I'll lose more....
