Being as tires aren't rated for weight or speed as car tires are, I assume 4"' can handle more weight than a 2" would.

Vee speedsters are a mixed bag. I didn't find mine much faster despite running max psi to get a way from that self steer thing. Then the ride gets harsh. What's your experience?
