The gap is only around 2.5' drop and around 4' long. It's not so bad. If the open space wasn't there and it was only a 2.5' drop...most people wouldn't think twice. It's just mental.

I really didn't have a problem hanging with them OTW out b/c it's a slight DH grade. I stayed on their tails with the ol' Porker. I think if it were gravity stuff...group rides would be okay.

If I remember right...there's a little nub either in the pad or on the piston that seats on the other. I wonder if you're not getting the pad all the way in? Are you putting that little metal keeper...
