Finally rode yesterday. Felt a little coughy but otherwise was good, felt great being out and going fast again! Planning to ramp things up this week and get back to regular training.

I need one of those too. Was off the bike for 3+ weeks dealing with a wicked respiratory infection. My asthma probably didn't help things, but I couldn't walk the 1/2 mile to work without coughing...

Sounds to me like he's describing a tightly organized group ride, nothing more. I ride with many people in higher cats, that's simply the nature of a group ride.
