And those Columbus framed Schwinns, from the 80's, when they were still trying to save the company, are truly nice. I had the Passage, a touring bike and rode it until the frame got all noodly.

Is this happening when the pedal is at the bottom of the stroke on the drive side? You may have a bit of a flex in your cranks, or the crankarms could use a bit of tightening.

Megulars' cleaning wax. Great stuff. I have to ride a lot of oil and gravelled roads, and live near a great many mulberry trees. So wax is a good way to keep the frame looking good.
