Mines heavy enough that when I was parked in my LBS and another regular who was looking at it tried to pick it up he could just get the back wheel off the ground. BTW my U-lock weighs 6 lbs.

make a small plate to mount between your chain stay and seat stay, and have a extra bolt in middle to attach the trailer too. or same thing but have the bolt positioned lower than the chain stay
