Interesting post.

I did have a tire blow off a rim recently but I determined it was a bad bead. The tire would blow off if you let it sit in the sun and warm up.

Show me a light, new production aluminum tubular rim. The closest I can find is the Velocity Escape, but I have Kinlin clinchers that are 385 grams a rim and work great.

Did the new Madone come out in 2015 or 2016? That would be my choice. Nice aero frame with the flexy thing for comfort, plus normal brakes. Just won KBK too.
