Thank You to my Shimano Experts and Some Followup Questions

First I'd like to thank everyone who responded to my earlier questions about the tri color Shimano 600 7 and 8 speed compatibilities, etc. Every response was helpful and clearly explained.

T-Mar, thanks for your response. You are always very helpful.

Are there separate Shimano 600 tri color brifters for 7-speed or is there only an 8-speed version?

Thanks!

You got it. Couldn't believe that when I saw it. Had to look at it a few times to make sure. Coupled with no FD, I don't think the seller is too savvy.

TSX Tubing Question

I always thought that TSX tubing was SLX tubing with the helical reinforcements running the length of the tubing rather than just at the butted ends near the bottom bracket.

Sorry to disappoint, but this sold a while back. Good luck in your search!

All measurements were c-c. Rear was 130. Frame would have been some time in the mid to late 80's most likely.

I have one of those, planning to use it on a 10-speed build. Doesn't really go with what I am doing on this build. Bad aesthetics, in my opinion, with vintage 7 or 8 speed era.
