Lake sells some shoes in a wide version. I've got a pair that are fine, if a bit heavy. They've got another model that's lighter that I would get now if I were doing it again.

I left Speedplay only to move to a more walkable shoe. Crank Bros Candy now, and I liked my Speedplays better in almost every single way. I was on the older X pedals.
