I'm planning on doing this, but if I do, I'm gonna add a trip up Brasstown Bald onto Jacks Gap. I just can't imagine riding past the entrance and not going up.

A bit late on the reply here, but I did the Ruby 100 route. I thought it was a great ride and event, even though it is fairly new. I would agree about the two sections, coming out of Nantahala Gorge...

Hmm... from the description of the climbs, it appears I was visualizing it backwards. Does it run clockwise, meaning the Parkway part starts from the end/Cherokee? I've been up to Waterrock from that...

I am looking at Vision Tech Trimax Integrated aero bars. They come in four lengths:

90/230=320
90/250=340
90/270=360
100/290=390

This may be incredibly obvious and I'm really stupid, but...

I fail to see the problem with any of this! I've done it 5 years in a row (plus once in 1985 when I was a young lad), and I love it for all the reasons leinad hates it. It's TOSRV!
