I'm curious if you could add a small nylon washer...

I'm curious if you could add a small nylon washer or two for removing the play in the lever and swap out the springs for stronger ones. All found at the hardware store for a couple bucks.

Ebay would be another spot to post that frame. You could probably source one or two bike boxes from a LBS to scab together to ship it in. I believe the major shipping carries have shipping estimators...
