I can see how guys can consistently be in top 10 but not have enough to upgrade since points don't start until 6th place (1 point). Even upgrading on experience, it looks like you need 10 qualifying...

I went with a longer straddle cable up front.
The trade-off was less power.

Would've preferred the fork-crown-mounted cable hanger, but unfortunately my fork didn't have a hole in the crown.

50cm Ridley frame has BB drop of 5.7cm.
Road frames are usually around 7cm drop. Maybe more if you've got a touring frame.
