So that is a ... 83 inch gear? Sounds about right if you have some open spaces. I ride a 42 x 16 on the commuter and cruise at around 22mph. My warmup gear at the track is a 48 x 16 (81) but there...

MS150 on Fixie

I just did it on a fixie, not a huge ordeal but it was challenging and a lot of fun. 42 x 16 is a good gear and you just need to work on cadence and some power to tackle the climbs. I'm not so sure...
