I like it but don't get why they don't just start with a few in downtown and other commercial areas where riders actually need parking for work. Residents usually just bring their bikes indoors.

Damn, all this makes me fearful of leaving any $1k+ bike outside especially with accessories like lights and bags. And if anyone fails to steal it they'll get mad and wreck it. It's a real lose-lose.
