Just the 6 miles/day of my previous bike commute...

Just the 6 miles/day of my previous bike commute was enough to keep me at a certain level of base fitness and my butt at a minimal level of toughness. They say you only need 1/2 hour of exercise...

Help Me Decide On My Commute

Thanks, that is interesting. I'll be replacing the rear rim, and hopefully can get one that matches the front a little better.

This thread is going in many different directions. I'll just say I doubt your frame is misaligned to the point that it is causing rim or hub failure. That would be extreme and I think you'd notice...

Yeah, I'd grab that. Quality tires, very suitable for commuting, nice extras, good condition. 56 cm seems about right, and seat tube length isn't too important anyway.
