I had inguinal hernia surgery and I just listened to the doc, the last thing you want to do is make the recovery longer. Take it easy, your legs will come back.

Yep 29er mountain bike not full suspension though. The wheels are the only concern with bikes, 36 spoke work best but ride what is on it until they start breaking. MAKE SURE THE BIKE FITS.

+1 for me. Its more about the joy of riding, although a nice fork and disc brakes on a mountain bike make all of the difference.

I have been considering the Shimano 1X11 upgrade. Really a good value. I ride a Race Face 30T narrow wide, It works great for me in western West Virginia.

Yes I too like silver parts but picked up a 105 group from a friend for a real good price. I have Avid Shorty 4's on my Crosshairs and they work good, set up is the main problem with canties.
