I can ignore if:
Brake pads don't contact the tire.
Spokes are evenly tensioned as best as possible.

Being out of true laterally causes me noticeable issues...

Trail Inn in Frostburg, Md is a great place to stay. Nice, clean hotel, bunkhouse, showers, and campground. Great fried chicken. They also run a shuttle service including bikes.

Dedicated touring, Surly rack is strong, low center of gravity, but heavy.
Mixed use as commuter, grocery hauler, daily ride, and can accommodate front panniers, I prefer the Soma Porteur. YMMV.

Both of these are nice tires. Had a string of the Urban Max tires when Performance Bike carried them for $25. Great deal. One set of Ribmo's in 28's too. Very nice tires for steel road bike.
