Took my new bike out - it's for the rain/winter - hydraulic disc brakes, mk3 fenders, whole deal. 73 miles, the sun came out and it was brutally hot, never rained! (still a great ride)

Ditch the plastic crap. If you're having issues at the valve another option is to put a piece of electrical tape over the hole and then push the valve stem through.

I use time xpresso for weight savings. If not for that I'd be using the dura ace pedals. My understanding is they're pretty much trouble free and have a great platform.
