Yeah, I figured as much. I found a good article on the pull ratios and sprocket spacing. Campy 9 speed shifters with Shimano 9 speed derailleurs is one of the combinations that don't work together.

Aside from cleaning and lubing the drive train when needed, my commuters & mountain bike never seems to get washed. However, my road bikes and fixed gear are always spotless.

I commuted on my dual suspension for one winter and had to replace the upper pivot bushings by spring. Also, the cold temps were tough on the Fox Float air shock seals and it started leaking air.
