I probably hug the edge more than I should, but I still leave myself plenty of room to maneuver. Around Phoenix and the valley we have many roads with good bike lanes.

Thanks Biker395. I agree with your opinion on the first 100 miles vs the 2nd. I would have to say the Central Coast double was a bit more difficult than the Eastern Siearra double.

44 miles solo. chilly at the start (about 40) but warmed up by the end (climbing 1300 ft helped that) so that I was able to take off my knee and arm warmers for the end of the ride.
