Is it a press in BB? My Defy Advanced has a pressfit BB which is BB86...honestly not sure how long they've used the standard but if your BB is pressfit then you will NOT be able to use a BB30...

Hmm...it didn't just work? I have a 2012 Defy Advanced 2 that I stripped down and built up with SRAM Red. Mounted the stock magnet in the right location on the crank arm to properly pass the sensor...
