When the problem happens the click is different and it drops the gears and eventually stops. Veloce shifters do not have the option for multiple upshifts. It is one shift at a time for upshifts.

Another vote for these. I actually buy the longer version for better comfort. I have been commuting for a few years and they have held up well. They sometimes also go on sale which is always good.

My record hubs do not have the stamp on the shoulder. Thats the first thing the bike shop i went to looked for. He even showed me the stamp on his wheelset that he had on bike in the shop.
