I agree that the frame doesn't look like a Rossin frame. I think the Rossin front fork may be a replacement for a possibly damaged original front fork.

There's probably a date of manufacture code...

There's probably a date of manufacture code stamped at the top of the seat tube. This will probably give you the year of manufacture as well as the particular quarter of the year it was made.

My guess is that your frame is a Nuovo Mexico Profil and I would also guess a 1983 build date (aerodynamic fork crown). I think 'Beppe' Saronni rode a very similar frame to win the 1982 World...
