I think the bike might feel a touch sportier, but don't expect too much difference for the uses you describe.

He's got a mavic rim (cxp21) , not a mavic hub. The hub us an older shimano 105.

But you are correct that a lightly used mavic wheel set is an often-overlooked path to 11sp compatibility.

I'd run those rs10's awhile longer if they aren't giving you trouble. A wider rim might feel a touch better...but you'd need to spend a bit more to achieve that weight and feel a difference...

Noodle, those aren't actually my wheels. Just an image I grabbed off a Google search. I ride similar wheels with 28f/32r. It would be nice to have a few more drilling options in 5800 and 6800 hubs...

I'd think some small discount off retail for the stem and tires (plus the install), and maybe a few additional bucks back if you leave the stock parts...
