I tried some slx shifters on a xt 772 RD. It does work but to an extent. For every 2 clicks on the shifter, the RD only switches one cog.

When you try to switch to larger cogs, it just stops.

Yeah, I had a compressor and borrowed a spray gun. You can even use the hobby airbrush if you'd like. They will work also!

nope no joke. I just need a faster way of taking the from wheel off when I put it onto my roof rack. And I hate having to carry a wrench everywhere I go.

i tried the Ergon GX1s and hated the pointed part...

i tried the Ergon GX1s and hated the pointed part so i switched to the GR1s and after adjusting perfectly, they are the best grips I've ever tried!

a couple of us ride downtown dallas on the weekends most of the time on mtn bikes. It's just much more versatile than road and fixies because of the crappy roads there!
