I've taken photos of every Warmshower guest that's stayed with me and 12 were female from a total of 32 which I make 37.5% female and 62.5% male. None were on Ebikes.

He had a gear mechanical and had to change bike. Chasing to rejoin the GC group he was given a hand sling from RP. Both riders were given a 10 second time penalty.

Irish railways have always 'defined' bicycles as 'dogs' and even in the day of touchscreen displays still issue a ticket to cover both.

What can Ebikes, mopeds, motorbikes or other types of motorised transport bring to bicycle touring?

IMO confirmation of the enduring beauty and simplicity of the humble bicycle.

The only thing I ask gratis from a bar or cafe stop on a tour is a fill of tap water and the use of the toilet/restroom but if we get loads of Ebikers asking to charge their batteries...
