how about a ink filled pressurized u-lock, that way when you cut it with a grinder it spews ink all over the thief, sort of like the dummy packs...

I use a non folding wald basket with a backpack in front, I just used the smallest size that would hold my bag without it falling out, to be honest I dont see the benefits of using a folding basket...
