Don't think they relieve stress on knees. SPD zeros relieve knee stress. I've used two Q-rings for about 9k miles and honestly I din't see/feel any difference and they are very sensitive to chain...

I tried it past Saturday 50 miles road race 90-100 deg heat and have to say, i'm hooked. Felt really energetic although i was upfront working like a dog. Used it yesterday on CX ride too.

I have had some knees slight pain and went to speedplays from Shimano and it's night and day difference. My feet esp left tends to point inwards naturally and the speedplays helps align it that way...

I don't usually check my HR in a crit but my max has been 186 so far. When doing 4/5 my hr will start at 150 ish first part then 170/180 last...
