I have SPD-SL pedals on my fixed gear with 172.5 cranks. Never tagged one and I lean quite a bit when it's dry.
YMMV depending on the pedals you use though.

Once you get accommodated to spinning, then start working at spinning a harder gear. Just one click higher, spin hard to get to your 85-90 range and work on getting stronger faster in that gear...

She thought it was less than 20mph. I tend to stop and start hard at lights, so I'm not at low speeds for more that 100 yards or so...

Ride was 19.3 average, so not a lot...
