I forgot to mention that it is possible I was having a sensor issue. My battery died the very next day. But that also doesn't explain how she "reverted" my data back to my speed sensor. I don't know....

Do you like to work on your own bikes? The Exploit has a standard threaded bottom bracket which will made swapping out BBs much easier. Just food for thought.
