That's the beauty of track ends. You just keep sliding the wheel back as the chain wears... instant tension! Just replace the chain when it gets to the ends of the dropouts.

I tried V8 MTB pedals, eggbeaters, candy's and clips with both single and then double straps. The doubles fit the best and are the most confortable for everyday riding. Sheldon agrees apparently.
