My New Steed - Steelman signature track build

Picked it up off eBay. Building a different wheelset, probably gonna ride riser bars in the city with a shorter stem but mostly it'll stay the same... I love it. It's a Steelman track frame/fork/stem...

Its all personal preference really... 48x15 sucks unless youre in a really flat area... go with the 17t and learn to spin a tad faster. I was 48x16, then 49x16, then 49x18 then 47x18 and I love 47x18...

I still doubt the NJS... I'm waiting to see one stamped with my own eyes LOL. I dont think a frame with a 69mm BB drop will pass NJS certification but I'm also not a Keirin specialist haha.

I ride 47x18 in Baltimore on mild hills. I'd say just toss on an 18t cog and take the same ride a few days... see if you can hang. It's only four GI lower but really easy to climb with on a 46t...

I think it would be simpler to swap pedals than it would be to take a set of cages/straps off LOL. Those would be good for a freewheel application for sure.
