You probably put on some muscle mass in addition to fat when you gained 30lbs over the winter, thus you now feel stronger.

You max at 113? Seems like you need to work on your speed skills, my friend. But I've found my average to be right around 95 on most rides, if I'm really putting the hammer down it might be a bit...

I just got a Fizi:k Arione last week and I LOVE it. That being said, saddles are extremely personal, so go test some out and find the one that fits you best.

Eat a LOT, practice sprints/hill repeats more often, hit the gym, eat MORE, and get tons of rest. Oh, and eat.

Still not seeing how you're argument is valid to this thread since no one previous to you brought up supplementing with protein. I'm over it, however.

Creatine and protein are two completely different things, acting in the body in different ways, with different results/applications. So the above argument is poor.

I did a 5mi. climb with 2050ft. of elevation gain (avg. grade of 7.8%, some spots lower, some higher) and I ended up sitting and spinning for ~80%, standing a mashing the remaining 20%. Only reason...

I prefer Clif Builder Bars or Jelly Belly Energy Beans, in my jersey pockets. I can eat just about anything while riding, just takes a bit of practice.

I do 5-8hrs/wk. on the bike (~95-150mi.), normally around 6hrs and 120ish miles a week though, not counting just riding to get around. But I also do weightlifting 4 times a week (around 6-8hrs total).
