If I'm in a hurry and it's cold out, it's whatever I could throw on and I'm out the door.
I typically don't change clothes when I get to work and do what I can to lighten the load on the commute.

  2. Rainy weather shoe covers for regular shoes.

I get ragged on a lot about it, but I simply choose not to go with a cleated pedal setup.
With that in mind, I encounter rainy weather from time-to-time and as often as I equip myself with the...

I've also got to ride with my security gear on when riding to work.
No place to change, aside from a staff bathroom on post to wipe down.
After that, I get to do my impression of a Russian border...

Still, cold air is pretty easy to deal with as opposed to the same cold air getting forced down your gullet by a 30+mph headwind.
Since my bike is basically my car though, I'll have to deal with it...

Not at the moment, but I'll track it down.
It wouldn't be related to the serial # no?
However, this thing was well taken care of and only had about 500 miles put onto it, so after that excellent...

CA is pretty much the pitts when it comes to owning firearms of any type.
*****s, pistols, shotguns all require a 10-day waiting period, then there's other restrictions in relation to the mechanical...

Well, I got the V-Rex and this thing climbs a decent grade just as well as I do on my MTB, but more comfortably.
Also, I easily transferred many of my gadgets to this one as well....

Not entirely sure at this time, but according to the picture on the ad, the straight-T's.

I'm going down to Redlands this week to test it out and such.
I just want to make sure it's worthwhile...
  9. Looking to transition from CLWB EZ-1SC over to SWB Rans V-Rex.

    Some basic questions.

1)Is this going to be a good idea?
Reasons being that the EZ-1 was fun for awhile, but I feel the wheel-diameter and iffy length are a bit limiting when it comes to speed...

    Nice replies.
The "DF" I currently own is nothing more than a folding, Montague "Paratrooper".
Basic 21speed, 26" inch wheels, 38x28x18 or some low-chainring gearing like that.
    This thing weighs...
  11. My overall speed is still faster on a DF.

I've had an "EZ-1 SC" for seven months now.
I mainly bought it out of convenience and impatience, due to my former trucking job and not being in one place for too long.
    I started riding it for...

I say we all just watch them crash into objects, each other.
Then melt the vehicles down into ingots.
It's not like anyone's going to miss them anyway.

Back when I was pulling flashlight-cop duties, I was putting in about 20 miles a day.
So, with 120 odd miles a week, I would say regular distance.
But, I tend to adapt to longer distances depending...

I guess I have this unofficial mission in my veins to start up a ride in areas where bicycle activity is generally dead.
As I reiterate, solo-rides get a little old and boring very quickly.

Find his car and slap some politically incorrect bumper stickers on it.

    Midnight Ridazz in Phoenix??

I recently became part of the SoCal originator and was wondering if anyone has organized an offshoot in this area.
Reason being that I'm also a trucker and I tote my bike around too.
    I would love...

Well, now that you added all of that, I question my decision.

  22. Converting 20"in EZ-1 to 26"in rear wheel.

Not sure if anyone has ever done it before, but it seems kind of simple to me.
Instead of waiting for funds to buy a completely new rig, I was thinking of an add-on.
My general idea was to attach a...

North Dakota a good place to ride??
Anyway, yes. It's strictly a beginner for now.
I figured I would get my time in with this one before I decide to invest in any further-on advancements.

Overall opinion of the EZ-1 is fair.

I give it high marks for the high weight capacity it seems to have.
I could lug 20-30 lbs of cargo to the backrest and pedal/control with no problems.
The comfort rating and ride duration is right...
