A nice PX-10 for $399. Peugeot Bicycle 531 Double Butted Campagnolo Nuovo Record F R Der's and Hubs | eBay
Jim, the bike has Gipiemme cranks, not Campy. I agree that anyone who likes track bikes will know what this is and be willing to pay.
Hope you got it! That's a screaming deal even with the work it needs.
Try a different set of pedals and see if you still have the problem. I purchased a set of Shimano pedals new and they had damaged threads.
And some people are color blind. Doesn't make them untrustworthy.
If it fits you, yes. It's not a top end frame and has Aelle tubing but the parts on it are worth $50 - $75.
^ That thing is so ugly... but so cool!
That's a great idea! I do agree with those who say it's a small market (people who still use cleats and get pain from their use) and this could make it difficult to keep prices reasonable. ...
You could use a primer pocket cleaning brush. These are available at most stores that sell firearms.
But with just a little work it will be worth $1500.
My Champion Team comes close but I do still want my one grail bike! It is an early 70's Paramount P-13 in one of the bright colors. These were the bikes I first coveted when I realized that bikes...
In my area that Paramount would sell for $500 +/- in existing condition. All cleaned up with new tires, cables, brake pads, etc. and it would bring $700 +/- if you had a little patience.
What he said ^.
Been there before!
Didn't Schwinn use a NR FD on their Paramount P-15 with triple chain rings?
Only my Motobecane has this dowel so I'm not sure if this was common to some manufacturers and not others, or may have been done only by racing teams or???
I agree that it doesn't look like a real Colnago.
What are the features that lead you to believe it's a Colnago? I've never heard of a Colnago with English threading so if you could provide photos of the frames details it could be helpful.
I'd like to find a 1971 -1973 Schwinn P-13 Paramount.
I just picked up one.http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/Kactus1/IMG_0739_zps06ce97b6.jpg
You could always call it a Pseudo Placebo! ;)
The long point lugs sure look the same. The fork is definitely wrong but could very well be a replacement done at the time of the repaint along with the brazed on cable guides.
Can you remove the...
No... that is a foot bridge allowing beach access at Chambers Creek Park in University Place, WA. It's the same place the 2015 US Open will be played.
I'm really sad to see what a poor job they did. I doubt very much that they will fix the damage they did; it would cost hundreds to repair. At most I think they will offer to refund your $60.
