My part supplier is out of DT rr 1.1 so I just bought a white 36h velocity deep V and laced it with a miche pistard instead since I already had a front white deep V with a ultegra 6600 hub.. It"ll do...
I highly recommend that crank/bb setup. It'll last you forever. It's stiff and brings you a different feel to the bike since the bb have external bearings cups. Definetly worth spending the extra 50$...
Simple question here, Anybody tried the Dt swiss RR1.1 rims?? I'm planning on building a set of rim it's either RR1.1 32h with ultegra front hub and miche pista rear or open pros.

Well some can deal with that "danger" and enjoy riding fixed and some can't.. A front brake and a helmet is as safe as you can get IMO.
