If it's just scratches- Have you tried nail polish?
There's zillions of shades of nail polish- and you get to go to the beauty store and have lots of nice young ladies helping you out.
The question was what is the most money you paid for a bike from CL or other classifieds.
It can't be $65, and $10, and $25, and $40, and $50, and $80. It might be $300. But $300 is the most out...
Then why would you say the most you spent on a CL bike was $100?
I think the most expensive CL bike I've bought was $650.
Didn't you buy that Trek 720?
I was really excited for you while you were cleaning that up.
World Voyageurs are from what... 73?
I like it like that. I might see if there's a way to polish what's there- otherwise, it's pretty styley as is.
"too much chrome..." :roflmao2:
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That's funny.
I like 1993. Maybe 1994.
Whenever Suntour really stopped.
Stuff can be "classic" from any time.
For the most part- people are pretty accepting here; if I got a new bike it probably...
I was watching this thing on Steve Jones and he was talking about how embarrassing it was to see footage of how he copied this Johnny Thunders 'head flip' kind of move.
My "signature" move was...
Check the join where the trunk closes- see if you'll have enough room for the hooks on the Saris. With both the BMW and my wife's '12 Pilot, the join where the gate closes is too small for the hooks.
OK- you're kind of where I was when I started this biking thing.
I didn't want to take my hands off the bars to shift. UNFORTUNATELY- the options to do that are not cheap.
... with a strongly worded denigration, sure to sting the self-worth of any criminal.
Go ahead... Say it... You know you want to....
I don't know about "justifying preferences" but I beleive that I have been ridiculed for riding an old bike.
I bought a beautiful set of Stronglight 99s from a BF member, I didn't know anything about them- but after finding out a little about them- the easisest way to tell them apart is the later ones have...
I put a set of SKS ChromoPlastics on my 1985 Trek 720. There's not a lot of room for fenders on that bike- but I'm able to do it and IMO, it looks nice and it's functional.
Me, uh... no... I'm 24... I've been 24 for years... I'm really good at being 24 now...
Ohhh... you mean Golden Anniversary... Yeah that's 50 years.
Oh, like nobody else is thinking "a good quality, comfortable- yet classically styled saddle can only enhance the ride of a bike that's viewed as a 'touring' bike..."
A good Centurion touring bike would be at home with a Brooks saddle...
