Wow. How fortunate for you. Bike remain and now you get to get a new blower. If they only knew what they overlooked.
Were they at least respectful of the bikes in their placement on the ground?
What about a quality auto paint polish? Griot's Garage Fine Hand Polish, Griots Garage Car Polish, polish cleaner
Or peanut butter? Sounds silly but I've had great success with decal removal...
How true. I was definitely better at wrenching on my purple Stingray as a kid back in the early 70-s than I am now klutzing around in my mid-50's.
Can't help with any bike details other than to say that is one GORGEOUS machine.
Glad they caught the slime.
Lesson to be learned.... don't leave your garage remote in a vehicle that isn't parked in the garage.
Wow. That is one awesome tour. Some poster-worthy photos for sure.
That would be my kind of ride.... no hills. I'd love to cruise the Brickyard. I hope there are some 50 plusers who can join you.
Anyone know a giraffe needing an old Schwinn? Here's a 71cm frame. I didn't even know they made frames that big.
Tallest Road Bike EVER !!! 71cm SCHWINN
Beautimous bike. Nice work.
Gorgeous frame. Plus it always good to get over your obsessions. Enjoy.
Glad you and your friend had a good experience. I like hearing about local bike shops that treat their customers well. May stop by for a visit when I'm in that area.
Love the color and the bike. Looks about my size too.
Two good shops in my area are Kinetic Cycles (Watt and Fair Oaks Blvd.) and the Bike Closet (3257 Folsom Blvd).
Congrats on your century.
Great blog Curtis. Thanks for the link. I will have to put this one on my list for next year. I'm think I'll plan on heading up to Chico in April for one of the Wildflower rides, probably the...
Best to get a green light from the Doc.
Avoid hills if at all possible. Hills can be a real pain and suck what little energy some of us old rookies can muster.
Keep at it and things will get...
Good on you for getting back in the saddle. I just got back in the saddle last weekend so I know what you're saying. Keep at it and we can both get in better shape and lose some lbs.
Awesome project. Love seeing your progress.
Love the great CS stories. It's good to give some "press" to those companies that do good instead of always hearing about the bad ones.
That's easy. My mileage was "0" because I decided to take a year off and gain 25 lbs.
But 2015 will be different. Not sure what my mileage goal is (1,000 miles?) but I plan on participating in at...
it felt great. I haven't been on my bike in over 14 months. And not for any good reason other than I got lazy. So I decided last month that 2015 was gonna be different. I'm at my heaviest weight ever...
Howdy all. Been off the bike for awhile. Basically I got lazy after the holidays in 2013 and haven't been in the saddle since. But I'm determined to lose some wait and get back into semi-shape. Now...
I need a cup of tea and a road trip.
The hands of a true craftsman. Very nice work.
