Rest in Peace Tom.
I have a great job, I am very well paid for it, and I do love it. I have done this for closing in on a decade now and am growing kinda bored. The problem is, even when "better" more challenging...
I was "liquidated" once. I laughed out loud at the boss for using that term. What an idiot. It seems they had been trying to call me in but she had the wrong phone number written on her note pad. ...
I dont ride when there is snow or ice. But that is just me. A guy that works in the offices down the hall from me rides until the snow is just too deep to ride through.
Howdy from Indiana.
A bit warm this AM, but still nice.
Yes, if there is no sentamental attachment, take the money.
Got an early start today because it was so nice I wanted to get a couple extra miles in.
I am to that point in life I am thing about retirement. I want to move south first and work a few years before I retire and kinda settle in before I retire. New Orleans is one area I am seriously...
Warm, nice tail wind. Nice ride in. Suppose to storm on way home. It's always something...
It takes me from 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes to go the 13.2 to 13.7 to work. I figure I average 13 mph about. but I spend so much time dealing with traffic I dont think it really matters.
70F and muggy. Suppose to be mid 80's by the time I get off work. Cant wait...There is a private college the girls track team often runs in the bike lane on my way home. I am ok with that.
Kinda like when someone on hte commuter forum asks what to do when a car cuts them off and I say, Ram em." like that right?
Several years ago I had a problem with my swimming pool the first time I opened it for the summer. Out of frustration I started a post aobut how to fix it. In no time someone had told me exactly...
I know I did, I had stacks and stacks of baseball cards, my Mom would have put the beat down on me if I used her playing cards.
OOOH, Stripers. Sorry.
I wonder how much those old ball cards I did that ot would be worth today?
Welcome aboard Ron.
Hi Rollinglotus. :thumb:
Due to having to travel most days this month I have not ridden until today. An absolutely perfect day.
I drink lots and lots of diet cokes. I work out a lot, ride a lot etc and still gain weitght. My diet is pretty good but I do drink beer. I might quit the diet cokes for a while.
Diet Dew raised your blood sugar? Interesting.
I think I ride for fun/on the weekends much less than I used to because of commuting. But I still ride more. So I would not change a thing.
