they also make this bike
after many years of looking for this bike I found the sellers, thought I would share it with you.

so what is the big deal about front loading cargo bikes? just better to keep an eye on the kids?
This alone is a good enough reason not to use a trailer: Boxes stacked on a two wheel trailer will not corner well, the top boxes will try to slide off.
This is why I would use aluminum hydroxide in the oil. YET TEFLON IN A THICK OIL MAY WORK EVEN BETTER.
Too bad a chain's oil can't be pressurized.

I seem to remember a conversation about the chain-l that "long chain molecule " was mentioned.
it could be that he people on teh other forum were not thinking clearly. or perhaps your self. I have a long history of asking the wrong question because I do not have enough information to start...
I see it is not as expensive as reported to me buy a bike mechanic that rejected it on grounds that it did not wash out the crud from your chain like sewing machine oils..... but can you give us a...
I did not say they are the same, just that they do the same thing, ie; thicken the oil.
I was on a chemical forum asking how to make oil thicker, they recommended STP
I used a sun usx trike when I was 300 lbs. but the only way I was able to loose weight was to have a heart attack and go to cardiac rehab to learn how to eat right. And it still took a massive...
Has any one tried using STP oil treatment in place of Chin-l? The STP stuff is just as thick as the over priced chain-l. I make oil paints and use aluminum hydroxide to thicken the oil. That is...
if you find a photo of a cargo bike with bricks on it, post it here.
the moped wheels i have seen use the usual BMX rims.
so what do you mean? are you saying that my design is not stronger? I think the wheels are the weakest point and i do mean the spokes. I intend to use steel rims with 11g spokes. and disc brakes.
I do not want to be limited by the strength of the bike, so I designed this one. But I need a grant to built it.
see my avatar, I built it my self. My over sized load
the other day I was hauling an over sized load, and going down hill the front end started to wobble side to side. I thought I was going to...
I was getting a inquisitor that ask me why are the cycle trucks better than HD bikes with HD trailers.
I have had a bit of experience with my trailer yanking my bike around when it was really...
I found this when looking for info about Bakfiets
read my blog Utility Cycling Technology
I have experienced a bit of "yanking around " by my trailer when it get really heavy. I do have one disc brake for going down steep hills in the rain. I will get a hydraulic disc brake as soon as I...
If I could find some diagrams of where to put the holes i could use a larger rotor. but I may need a computer to place the thing perfectly.
ok I brain stormed the idea, and found a way to put the brake on the bottom. I had to reduce the trail to half inch.
I think maybe that the wheel pulls on the brake more than the brake pulling...
Can any one tell me if this will work in reverse on the right side of a drop out that will have a large amount of rake with short trail?? (where I can't possibly use this method.)
And why is this...
I don't feel good unless I am hauling at least 60 lbs on my short cycle-truck and trailer. I think it is more of a zen meditation than pain. My legs hurt when I am not cranking slow and hard.
Has anyone seen an article about touring on a cargo bike like this one?
