Today was the first 17 mile ride this year, (my daily ride last season). Also the first 17 miler after my 60th Birthday.
So now I am on a weekend shift, with plenty of time to take care of yard...
I was real happy with my Iphone and cyclemeter, but my battery would not last for a 30 mile ride.

Went out today for my 17 mile ride. 55F, the new thermal tights were awesome, the jersey fit loose and was not as warm. Maybe something else under it? I can't EVERY remember riding in January, but...
My chain and cog set are in denatured Alcohol, I just received thermal jersey and long bib tights. Hope to be rolling again in Jan 2015.

No power in my legs today, but I did enjoy the ride. Much cooler than normal, but that's OK. Going to ride through the winter, which is not two bad for coastal South Carolina.
I had quite a few rides this summer above 105F. And yes, I wear a hydropack in mid summer!

Today just might be the last day with temps in the 70's. Could not pass up a great afternoon to ride. Love to say it was in the country side, but I will settle for bike lanes on the side of 4 lane...
