    Seems real fishy to me.

I think sometimes ads like this are used to mine email addresses and other information from prospective buyers of high-end stuff. I never correspond to craigslist ads...

Those pics around Paso Robles are great.

I did a short 20 mile shakedown for Eroica on my '62 UO8 that I plan to use on the short course in April.

Very nice looking bike. I like the choice of components. Still retains the vintage look. I don't think you need 27" wheels. My Grand Jubile is stock except for the wheels which are 700c sew-ups.

    Nice bike indeed!

I would only replace the RD with a Huret and the Araya rim with a Weinmann, clean and lube all the bearings, replace cables and brake pads and ride it.

    Oh, one last thing,...

    New Rims for the UO-8

Finally got around to putting alloy rims on my '62 UO-8. It's something I've been wanting to do for a long while. This weekend I came across a good set of Superchampion Mod 58's in 27" size, so I...

    Decals for Griffon

Here's some one-off's I made recently. Original decal, reproduction waterslide sheet, and finished bike.

The tough part was reproducing the Griffon bird.

My first real bike was a brand new 1961 Varsity 10-speed. I love the checkerboard seat tube decals on the early Varsity. The bike was kinda heavy, but at the time I didn't know any better.
