I rode to the top Tuesday. The gates were closed to cars as there is some road work being done but CDOT didn't seem to mind that I was up there. It was cloudy the day I went (early morning) and very,...
IRC roadlites > Fusion or Ones
I have no experience with tubulars. I've switched to tubeless. Can't see going back.
skinny, super skinny, crit racer! Love to see that.
Nice job, too bad on the flat.
Are we discussing rollers or a trainer??
Rollers are nicer to tires than the road, IMHO.
I am out of town for a while but I saw the forecast for rain. wth?? Did it rain in Phoenix? I don't ever recall (not that my memory is great) rain in May or June. Wonder if Tucson got hit? I hope so...
Yup, I thought I read that registration was online only but up to 7 am the day of. (?)
I will likely take @rapwithtom 's suggestion and ride up a canyon to the Peak to Peak and get a big ride in,...
Sunshine HC in Boulder
Doh, I went to register for the HC tomorrow and see that registration is closed and no day-of. Ugh, I sent an email with fingers crossed...
The magnet will not stick to Al so you might have to glue it on the frame or find a work around. Someone on here fashioned a wooden crossbar that had several magnets glued to it that he then wedged...

Thanks. Hell, if I am going to race, I might as well try to contend, right!
It quickly goes 6%+. So maybe just pace it like an ITT.
This time I am racing masters and the times from last year are longer in this group than the cat4 group I was in previously. So maybe there...
rapwithtom: It's great getting a podium in a race that you almost skipped. Cheers.
I have a mass start HC coming up at altitude, the Sunshine HC. I will be in Boulder for 6 days prior to the event, just enough to start to feel the effects of altitude as I have...
Lol, Kung Fury is pretty funny.
heal up rapwithtom
You don't put it on the drum, rather on the frame very close to the drum. The closer it is, the more resistance. In practice, I have mine a few mm away.
Here is a pic:
For about $20, you can buy a rare earth magnet on Amazon and stick it on your frame right near the front drum, very close but not touching (assuming its aluminum). I do this with my old Krietlers and...
