    Hi There,

I think both options will be fairly safe. I've not yet used mine on gravel, but I know of others on this forum who have and experienced no problems. It's probably worth asking your LBS...

Stuart - the issue about the spokes is one which I inquired about at my lbs. They told me those wheels actually have stronger rims and so need less spokes. I would probably change the tyres anyway....

Thanks for the advice - and eating in moderation and cutting out fatty foods will be a good idea. I'll be sure to let you know how I get on.

    Fitness - How long?

How long do you reckon you need to cycle a bike per day to regain a good level of fitness - or how many miles per day, in general? I know it's a very generalised question which varies from person to...

    Touring Transformations?

Just wondering - which makes do you think are suited to be turned into a tourer? I have a hybrid and wonder whether it could withstand the kind of distances involved? Which bikes are best for...

    Met Anaxagore 2 Helmet

I'm planning on going out tommorow to purchase a new helmet from my LBS, and I've decided to choose the Met Anaxagore 2 Helmet. I was wondering what your thoughts on it are? I just want to make sure...

I'll try and start next weekend and draw up a list of all the locations and go from there. I'll post the list when it's done.

I've been very busy recently, but I'll try and organise it. Any help which can be offered is great - we need someone to plot the different locations of members on a map. Any one offering?

Okay, let's discuss the charities then. I still think some kind of disabled sport charity is best. Thoughts, everyone?

Yep - it's a pound. I like the idea of giving the money to Joe for running the site so superbly - but at the same time it would be good to split it 50:50 for a charity too. We need a lot of European...

There are a lot of sport related charities who donate to athletes who have a disibility, and I would like to donate to these too. Probably best to limit it to two charities though because that way...

TT - Making the map so that people could plot GPS points is probably more hassle than it's worth, as I wouldn't know where to start with that (if someone does let me know). I'll write a list of...

I have a hybrid (and admitidly have only riden it for a test so far as it is not due to arrive until late December), and when I rode it I loved it. It's a Trek 7500FX, and very light and fast. I plan...

    How did you start cycling?

I'm interested to hear how everyone started cycling properly (by that, I mean not just jumping on a bike for a few minutes, but actually going out for a longer cycle).

So far, I've got a hybrid....
