Leader 725s are super awesome. You should totally pick that one!
Listening to this album at maximum volume before the shop opens has been a long running ritual. I'm blasting it so loud right now, the walls are shaking.
Building wheels? You're crazy. I can't even use a ruler.
4mm Best Champs on risers are my favorite!
Right on. While it's not exactly a "heavy" crankset, I know what you mean in that it is definitely a solid, well made component.
From the few Chinese-made Gara frames I've seen in person, they're not anything overly spectacular. A Vig will be much nicer, stiffer and lighter.
RD and Messenger (which are the same arms) use 103mm JIS.
I haven't found a single crankset compatible with a 103mm ISO spindle (and am unsure why Phil even makes that size).
If you want to use 75s and want to use a Phil BB you'll need either a 108mm ISO...
Yeah, I guess I did. Ha!
Not really but I've been moving my shoulder a lot more over the past few days and can already feel an improvement in flexibility. I've broken bones before so I'm pretty familiar with the healing...
I should have said the gum color doesn't match the sidewalls on new Pasellas (which do darken up over time).
A little surface rust on a frame isn't going to cause catastrophic failure.
There is a sticker right on the Mash Work frame stating surface rust will develop naturally over time.
E-mail the shop. I don't work 24/7.
I've only ridden on a Curve saddle during a test ride after working on a customer's bike but it seemed pretty comfortable. Same general shape as a Turbo but with a little more padding.
The CC gum...
This depends on the size of your foot, which I do not know.
A little. It's still a really sticky tire though.
Not sure. Going to see the doc next week to have follow up x-rays done. It's still really painful to hold my arm in a forward-extended position so probably another 2-3 weeks before I can ride again.
Still broken. Getting a little better every day, though.
Yes, but only because you have a beard.
Sorry, I don't. Using a ruler is too hard.
Perfect. In that case, buy both wheelsets. Put one on your bike and wear the other around your neck.
If noise is all you're concerned with, why don't you just get a new cog?
