who cares. just ride.
They are legal in USAC events. A teammate of mine uses them from time to time..
Had a pretty good night of racing last night, even though it was just a training race.
A group of 3 got away early with about 15 laps to go.
With around 10 to go, I see Dave Fuentes attack off...
Giro di Coppi
Raced strong for 49 out of 50 miles. Chased down a few breaks. Threw down a few attacks.
Stayed in the top 5 in the last mile. Forgot that I can't sprint for crap this year. 11th.
Garmin Edge 500 + Ascent
My Tourbook looks interesting. I think I'm going to have to check it out. Ascent has some quirks that really bug me.
Donuts and pastries hurt my riding.
Actually I take that back. They make me stronger.
I freaking love them, but eating one is enough to make me feel guilty enough to push a little harder on my...
Earlier today I drove from the office to one of our client sites. Took some back roads that are frequented by cyclists.
Seeing everyone out on their bikes at 10 AM on a weekday made me just a bit...
Ditto. A season of riding gives me more than enough tires for the trainer over the winter.
Yeah... I used to drink a lot, and also found that it interfered with my riding.
Then I stopped drinking the night before any rides. Then I stopped drinking all together. I don't miss it at all.
What do you mean by deformed? A little bulging is normal for a tire when there's weight on it.
Really at 150 lbs you only need to be pumping your tires up to about 100 psi if you are running 23s.
Never used Specialized bibs, but I'd bet the Specialized are better.
My team's kit is Pactimo.
They have 2 bib models - Summit and Ascent. Summit is better than Ascent. Neither one is particularly great, but neither one is particularly bad. Durability seems to be...
Saturday I was sick. I spent the day on the couch and did a total of 0 miles.
Felt a little better on Sunday and got out for an easy 35 miles.
Those hours are kind of rough. Any way you can ride before work or during lunch? Or both?
Did 1,019 miles in March. That includes a trip to Spain where I spent 8 days doing nothing but riding and eating.
Came close again in June with 961 miles.
I'll probably hit it again in...
I don't really consider myself a long distance cyclist, but I have at least 1200km in every full month so far this year.
My best month is March when I spent 8 days in Spain and did nothing but...
That's not the fault of the wheels. That's the fault of the rider not knowing how to handle his bike with aero wheels.
Just put a few baseball cards in your spokes.
Yeah, I don't really have a social life, and I'm totally cool with that.
Although I don't blame it on cycling. I wouldn't have a social life even if I didn't ride my bike and work all the time.
My goal this year was to get my cat 2 upgrade. I'm 8/25 of the way there. Going to need a pretty spectacular July and August if I'm going to make it.
Haven't checked recently how many miles I have...
I've always sewn a patch over them. You can get material that is very similar to the material they make the jersey from.
Most off-the-shelf bikes come with that spoke guard for liability purposes. Pretty much all aftermarket wheels do not come with it.
It's there to prevent you from shifting an improperly adjusted...
Depends on the ride.
